3-Day Ceramics Course

*Welcome to ceramics courses at Svea Gård! * Do you want a break from everyday life, need replenishment with new and proper energy? \ Then we can offer a course where you can hang out with friends and enjoy yourselves! The ceramics will give you the pleasure of being creative with your hands, creating your own design of cups, bowls and saucers. Here you will learn how to pivot, model and learn different modeling techniques. Teaching various decorating methods. Techniques such as wax, tape, sponge, making stamps with more are shown. The paint that will be used is priming and is applied to the work when it is “conductor dry”. Here I have a large selection of colors for you to choose from. You will stay in the tailor's house (see own link) which is located at the very bottom of the idyllic Randsfjorden. We can offer a refreshing morning or a delicious evening bath. Don't be tempted, you have access to a wood-fired hot tub where you can enjoy the evening while looking out over the Randsfjorden, or a starry sky. It can be chosen between different layouts of courses, but its content will be the same. What is the best fit for you? Whether you want to be alone, with a group of friends, artistic teamwork with work, you and your girlfriend or for a bachelorette party? Service Description Over the weekend there will be 12 hours of teaching in various modelling and turning. Different techniques, turning and decor. During the weekend, you can make your own cup and bowl or a separate serving dish. It will be great, imagine being able to serve food to your guests on a separately produced platter, how stylish is that! If you have your own ideas that you want to create, we can try to do this as well. The weekend course has two options, with chefs, serving lunch and dinner. Or you guys make the meals yourself. If you want a cook there must be a group of at least 4 pieces. The house has its own Jacuzzi and a short way to the natural beach, as well as access by canoe, paddleboard and boat. A ceramics course at Svea Gaard will give you a fantastic weekend with an introduction to ceramics where you for created your own designs on your own pottery products.
